The World: New York - Omnicom's Nelson takes responsibility for digital

Omnicom Group has appointed Jonathan Nelson, the founder of the digital agency Organic, to the newly created role of chief executive of Omnicom Digital.

Nelson will oversee all of the holding company's digital initiatives, such as vetting potential acquisitions, and strategy.

He joined Omnicom in 2002 after the group acquired Organic, the agency he founded nine years earlier.
