The World: New York - Salzman becomes chief marketing officer at JWT

JWT has promoted Marian Salzman (pictured) to the post of executive vice-president and chief marketing officer of JWT in the US.

Salzman, who joined the agency last April as an executive vice-president and chief strategic officer, will lead the company's global business development.

The appointment was made by the JWT worldwide chief executive and chairman, Bob Jeffrey, who said: "Marian has proven highly adept at juggling everything from corporate communications and thought leadership to knowledge management and business development." Before joining JWT, Salzman spent four years at Euro RSCG Worldwide.
