The World: New York - Starcom Mediavest lands Gillette planning task

Procter & Gamble has handed the $560 million planning account for its recently purchased Gillette business to the Starcom Mediavest Group.

The network won the business in a two-way pitch against Carat, which shares communications duties with SMG on the rest of P&G.

The FMCG giant moved Gillette's global media planning and buying out of MindShare last month.
