The World: New York - Starcom nets Bank of America's media business

Starcom has picked up the $230 million Bank of America media planning and buying account.

The agency, which won the business following a pitch against Universal McCann, Avenue A/Razorfish and the incumbent, Prometheus, will handle traditional and online media strategy.

Before the announcement of the review, the Bank of America had almost exclusively worked with Omnicom, but announced last November that it would be dismantling its holding company relationships. However, BBDO will remain as the bank's lead creative agency.
