The World: New York - Starcom picks up Samsung's global account

Samsung has picked Publicis Group's Starcom to handle its $600 million global media buying account.

Starcom got the nod after a review that also included WPP's MindShare, which had handled media in around 60 markets, including the US, where Samsung spends about $152 million.

The switch comes two years after Samsung replaced WPP's Berlin Cameron and JWT on the creative account and moved the business to the Publicis-owned Leo Burnett.
