The World: New York - Super Bowl helps CBS to top in viewer listings

The Super Bowl and the Grammy Awards look to have secured CBS the top spot among US broadcasters in the viewership figures for last month.

But experts predict Fox's decision to screen five hours a week of American Idol would make for a closer race. American Idol was drawing 24.2 million viewers at the end of last month. But while ABC's Lost has seen audiences drop, its medical drama Grey's Anatomy hit its highest rating with 27.3 million viewers.
