The World: New York - Virgin Atlantic calls creative and media review

Virgin Atlantic Airways is reviewing its $5 million creative and media accounts held by Crispin Porter & Bogusky. The Miami-based agency, which has held the account since 2003, has declined to repitch for the business.

A number of undisclosed agencies have been lined up to contest the brief.

Chris Rossi, the Virgin Atlantic senior vice-president, North America, said: "Commercial objectives require a new approach to strongly position our brand and service offerings in a competitive marketplace. We look forward to aggressively building on our current growth and momentum."

Crispin Porter & Bogusky said it was "extremely proud of the work we have done for Virgin Atlantic Airways and the results that we have achieved together".
