The World: Paris - French adspend down 9.9 per cent in February

French advertising revenue fell 9.9 per cent in February, according to data released by TNS Media Intelligence.

The print and television sectors saw the greatest decline in adspend for the month, with both media experiencing a fall of 15 per cent. Radio revenue also took a tumble, with ad revenue down 7 per cent.

The figures also showed that of the leading advertising sectors, eight out of ten had significantly dropped their market presence. The automotive sector fell 24 per cent, while the financial sector was down 17 per cent.
