The World: Paris - Havas merges six shops to create integrated offering

Havas is merging six of its agencies to form an integrated marketing operation that will sit alongside BETC Euro RSCG in France.

Fernando Rodes, the Havas chief executive, is looking to the new entity, to be called H, to offer a wide range of services from advertising and marketing services to digital communication.

H is the result of merging Scher Lafarge, Devarrieuxvillaret, Euro RSCG 27, Brann Communider (a customer relations specialist), 146 & Company (a media strategist) and Le Nouvel Eldorado.

The 225-strong agency is said to have a potential income of EUR30 million-a-year from clients including Citroen, the electrical retailer Darty, the French rail service SNCF and, the low-cost airline launched by Air France and KLM.
