The World: Paris - JCDecaux awarded long-term contracts in Strasbourg

The outdoor advertising company JCDecaux has been awarded a 12-year contract to provide street furniture in Strasbourg and its surrounding district. The area comprises 28 boroughs, and is home to more than 427,000 people.

The company has also secured a 14-year deal for tramway shelters with the city's transport operator.

Designed by Norman Foster, the street furniture will include approximately 2,900 ad panels.

Jean-Charles Decaux (pictured), the JCDecaux chairman and chief executive, said: "These wins underline JCDecaux's ability to provide the highest levels of service to cities and their inhabitants."
