The World: Paris - JCDecaux and Unilever join forces in five-year alliance

The outdoor company JCDecaux has signed a five-year global alliance with Unilever.

The arrangement extends the pan-European agreement between the companies, which has been running since 2002.

The immediate focus of the arrangement will be on the 41 countries where both parties have a presence, and will also cover Unilever's entire brand portfolio.

Alan Rutherford, Unilever's vice-president global media, said: "We have been delighted with the effectiveness of our partnership so far, and this move towards a global alignment is an important strategic fit with our brand development."
