World: Paris - OMD France president stands down to join Publiprint

The president of OMD France, Pierre Conte, is leaving the agency next month to take up a post at Publiprint, France's second-biggest print sales house.

Conte will replace Cyrille Duval as the president of the sales house, which handles the Dassault title Le Figaro.

Groupe Express-Expansion, owned by Dassault, has recently joined the Publiprint house and Conte will take on the role of chief operating officer for ad sales for the group. While no merger of operations is currently planned, Conte is charged with developing closer ties between the two sales houses. The two sales teams have a gross annual turnover of 720 million euros.
