The World: Paris - Publicis warns of slower revenue growth than last year

Publicis Groupe has reported a slowdown in its organic growth.

Revenue during the third quarter of the year has grown more slowly than expected, rising some 2.5 per cent to approximately $1.3 billion compared with a similar period in 2005.

Maurice Levy, the Publicis Groupe chairman, blamed the downbeat performance on some accounts winding down and the cancellation of some campaigns during the summer. But he added: "We have experienced similar situations in the past, and their impact has always been limited. We believe this to be the case now."
