The World: Prague - Interdeco takes over ad space selling duties for Burda

Hachette Filipacchi's sales house, Interdeco, is to take over the selling of ad space for Burda's magazines in the Czech Republic.

The deal means that Interdeco will work with a total readership of 2.3 million Czechs, most of them women. This puts the sales houses in fourth place behind Bauer, which reaches three million people, Ringier (2.8 million) and Sanoma (2.6 million).

The new arrangement follows the merger of Hachette and Burda in Poland last year.

Separately, Axel Springer has bought a 74.9 per cent stake in Anima, the Czech publisher which runs three online car magazines.
