The World: San Francisco - Anheuser ends 14-year Goodbys relationship

The Budweiser brewer, Anheuser-Busch InBev, has ended its 14-year relationship with Goodby, Silverstein & Partners.

The agency, which was responsible for the brand's iconic "Louie the Lizard" campaign, was axed following a roster review undertaken by the brewer, in which it stated its desire to work with a fewer number of agencies.

Last month, Anheuser-Busch also announced that it was to scrap the arrangement of paying agencies on a retainer basis, and will instead pay shops on a project-by-project basis.
