The World: San Francisco - HP chooses Goodby Silverstein & Partners

Goodby Silverstein & Partners has been handed the global creative duties for HP's Personal Systems Group, beating Publicis & Hal Riney in a pitch.

The move is part of a re-evaluation by HP following the departure of its chief executive, Carly Fiorina, last year.

Goodby handles advertising for HP's printers and its business-to-business enterprise division in North America, while Publicis agencies handle work in Europe and Asia. Last year, the Group spent almost $300 million on advertising.
