The World: San Francisco - Kohler calls review of $75m global media

Kohler, the US bathroom fittings manufacturer, has begun a review of its $75 million global media account.

Publicis Groupe's Starcom, which handles the company's media planning and buying account in North America and some overseas markets, is expected to take part in the review. Media in other markets is handled by local agencies.

Kohler's creative account, which is run by the Omnicom-owned GSD&M Idea City in Austin, Texas, is not affected by the review.

Although the company's sinks, toilets, bathtubs and showers sell through home-improvement outlets, it also sells elaborate shower systems with music players costing up to $10,000.
