The World: San Francisco - XM kicks off review of $50m creative task

XM Satellite Radio has called a review of its $50 million creative account.

Mullen, the incumbent, will continue to handle media planning and buying on the account, although a Mullen representative confirmed the agency will not be defending the creative business.

Once the review is complete, the new agency is expected to start work on the account as early as September.

The Santa Monica-based intermediary Select Resources International will handle the review.

XM is the larger of the US's two satellite radio services, with seven million subscribers.
