The World: Seattle - Washington Mutual reviews $100m creative task

The US bank Washington Mutual is holding chemistry meetings with six agencies as it prepares to put its $100 million account up for pitch.

The business is currently at the Interpublic-owned agency Sedgwick Road in Seattle, which is a unit of McCann Erickson in San Francisco. McCann will be repitching to defend the account in place of Sedgwick Road.

Other agencies lining up to contest the account include TBWA\Chiat\Day in San Francisco, Leo Burnett in Chicago, Deutsch/LA in California, Publicis in Seattle and the independent Cramer-Kesselt in Chicago.

Select Resource International in Santa Monica is managing the pitch.
