The World: Seoul - City seeks agency for campaign to attract tourism

City leaders in Seoul are inviting tenders from agencies for a $30 million campaign to boost awareness of the South Korean capital overseas.

The business, currently held by LG Ad, follows last year's appointment of Oh Se-hoon as the city's mayor.

The move coincides with the annual review by the Korea Tourism Organisation of its "Korea Sparkling" campaign, also handled by LG Ad and worth $19.5 million. Both pitches include creative and media.
