The World: Seoul - Five agency teams fight for $350m LG business

LG Electronics, the South Korean multinational whose products range from mobile phones to washing machines and flat-screen TVs, is reviewing its $350 million brand and strategic marketing business.

Five agencies or agency teams from two global holding companies will contest the pitch to be held In Seoul early next month.

Omnicom will be represented by DDB Worldwide and a team made up of and TBWA. Publicis Groupe is fielding a team made up of Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide and Publicis Worldwide.

The remaining contender is Bartle Bogle Hegarty, in which Publicis Groupe has a 49 per cent stake and which is pitching only for LG's mobile communications business.
