The World: Seoul - Grape to defend brief as Unilever extends review

Unilever has extended its media review in Malaysia to Korea, where the account is estimated to be worth up to $20 million. The multinational's Taiwan business, which is handled by Initiative, is also likely to go up for pitch towards the end of the year.

Grape, Unilever's incumbent media shop in Korea, will defend its business against a number of unnamed agencies. Presentations will take place during the first week of August, with a decision expected later in the month.

MindShare, which holds Unilever's $30 million Malaysian account, is facing competition from Omnicom Media Group for the business. The pitch is in line with the personal care giant's policy of reviewing its agency relationships every three years.
