The World: Seoul - Korean Ministry hands McCann Healthcare flu brief

The Korean Ministry of Health has briefed McCann Healthcare to help with the communications regarding swine flu and other forms of influenza.

The agency has been charged with addressing the issues regarding the virus, such as helping people to understand how they can limit the spread of the flu.

McCann is already working with five other government departments in South Korea on similar campaigns.

John Cahill, the group president Japan and regional director Asia-Pacific for McCann Healthcare Worldwide, said: "Medical and government authorities are well versed on this issue of containing the flu, but the general community lacks understanding of the situation."
