The World: Seoul - Korean Ministry hands McCann Healthcare TB brief

McCann Healthcare Worldwide has picked up a brief from the Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare to develop a campaign to draw public attention to the threat from tuberculosis.

The agency will create a TV spot highlighting the seriousness of the disease, comparing the rate of domestic deaths from the problem to less-developed countries such as Cameroon, Peru and Yemen.

Jea-Hee Jun, the health and welfare minister, will feature in the ads, encouraging people to try to undertake the appropriate measures to fight the disease.

Meanwhile, the Korean Ministry for Health and Center for Disease Control has also handed McCann a brief to create a campaign to combat discrimination against Aids patients.
