The World: Shanghai - DDB aims to become regional hub via senior hirings

DDB China has made a number of senior appointments as it attempts to turn its Shanghai office into a regional hub.

The hirings include five creatives, who will be led by JWT Taiwan's executive creative director, Michael Dee, who has been appointed to the newly created role of chief creative officer.

Other creative hirings include Eva Hou, who joins from Lowe Shanghai, and Stefan Sonntag, who was previously at TBWA\Shanghai.

DDB has also bolstered its PepsiCo non-carbonated drinks business by hiring the former Wieden & Kennedy general manager Jesse Linn, who will become the regional business director.

At the same time, John Lindsey, who is presently on secondment from DDB Chicago, will become the overall group creative director.
