The World: Shanghai - Group M rethinks management structure

Group M has restructured its management in the Asia-Pacific region by reorganising its regional and national heads.

As part of the restructure, senior executives within the network will receive extra responsibilities for the development of global brands and individual brands across the region.

The reshuffle was instigated to enable WPP to accommodate the growth of its media operations following its purchase of Grey Worldwide last year. This brought MediaCom into the holding company, plus there has been significant growth in the Asia-Pacific region for WPP's largest media network, MindShare.
