The World: Shanghai - L'Oreal calls review of China TV buying account

L'Oreal, the French beauty and cosmetics brand, has called a statutory review of its TV buying business in China.

The company has invited the incumbents, Group M and ZenithOptimedia, to pitch for the account, as well as Universal McCann. The process will be handled by Accenture.

Publicis, which handles L'Oreal's creative account, is unaffected by the review.

L'Oreal is one of the biggest-selling cosmetic brands in China and has a media spend for TV of around Yen2 billion per year.
