The agency, which has previously worked with the brand on its anti-smoking drug Champix, will be briefed to work on a year-long project that incorporates brand alignment and communication for Pfizer's entire oncology portfolio.
It will also be challenged to start building brand equity in oncology products and produce more effective communications through medical representatives.
Pfizer faces stiff competition in China's oncology sector, with other brands vying for Roche's current status as the market leader for cancer drugs.
