The World: Shanghai - Mindshare and OMD to contest Pepsi business

Pepsi China has shortlisted Mindshare and OMD Shanghai for its domestic media planning and buying business.

The drinks company called the pitch in June and invited a number of agencies, including the incumbent, Mindshare, to participate in the review.

A series of meetings have since taken place and it's understood that an appointment will be made in November.

The successful agency will work closely with BBDO and DDB, the brand's creative agencies in China, on the account.

Pepsi recently launched an integrated campaign in China, called "the rising", which featured a "battle of the bands" competition.
