The World: Singapore - 141 staff levels to halve after accounts switch

141 Worldwide will see its staff numbers and revenue in the Asia-Pacific region drop by about half after the switch of its BAT and Unilever business into the newly created Ogilvy Action.

Miles Young (pictured), the Ogilvy & Mather regional chairman, said about 200 of the 141 staff would be affected by the switch, many of them moving to Ogilvy Action, which consolidates O&M's activation units in Asia.

Glen Cullen, the 141 chief operating officer, will lead the new Ogilvy Action operation. He will not be replaced at 141. Local managers will report to Jeffrey Lu, the BatesAsia president, and Digby Richards, the chief operating officer.
