The World: Singapore - Aegis Media grabs place on $300m J&J review

Aegis Media has snatched a late spot on the $300 million Johnson & Johnson Asia-Pacific media review.

The agency was added to the list following MindShare's decision to pull out of the race at an earlier stage.

Aegis will now pitch against J&J's incumbent agencies, Universal McCann and OMD. The network is already involved in the European, Middle Eastern and Asian leg of the pitch, but doesn't have any global business from the client.

Ashutosh Srivastava, the regional chief executive of MindShare, said the decision was reached because the agency was struggling to handle the transition of such big accounts.
