The World: Singapore - Amour named as Grey's Asia-Pacific chairman

Mike Amour has been appointed as the chairman and chief executive of Grey Global Group Asia-Pacific. He will be based in Singapore and will report to Ed Meyer, Grey's chairman, president and chief executive.

Before joining Grey in March 2003 to work on network clients, Amour was the business development director at TBWA\Worldwide in New York. He has also had stints at Wieden & Kennedy in Portland and McCann Erickson Worldwide, London.

Amour will assume his new role in January 2005, succeeding Jonathan Fox, who has held the position of interim regional director for Grey Asia since January 2004.
