The World: Singapore - Castrol agrees sponsorship deal with ESPN

Castrol, the global manufacturer of motor oil and lubricants, has agreed a deal with ESPN Star Sports to sponsor its Football Crazy programme.

The deal comes as Castrol attempts to build up its association with football ahead of the 2010 Fifa World Cup, of which it is an official sponsor.

Castrol will now have priority in broadcasting its spots during the Football Crazy ad breaks, and will also feature on billboard branding.

News of the agreement comes in the same month that ESPN Star Sports concluded a major rebranding exercise across all of its major media channels.
