The World: Singapore - Dentsu triumphs in Toyota pitch against Saatchis

Inchcape-Borneo Motors, the distributor of Toyota and Lexus in Singapore, has hired Dentsu as its advertising agency for Toyota after a head-to-head pitch with the incumbent, Saatchi & Saatchi.

A source said the pitch was called in order to bring greater consistency to Toyota's advertising. Tony Tan, the new chief marketing officer of Inchcape-Borneo Motors, said: "Dentsu won because it developed a series of print ads with a focused model-specific identity."
