The World: Singapore - Euro RSCG battles DDB for $150m Dell account

Euro RSCG and DDB will do battle in a "winner-takes-all" pitch for Dell's $150 million Asia-Pacific account.

Euro currently handles most of the computer manufacturer's regional creative and media business. In Dell's last review in 2005, the network added the Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan accounts to existing assignments for China, Hong Kong and India.

DDB handles Dell in Australia and New Zealand, but has seen its global relationship with the company weaken. It has been displaced as Dell's agency of record in the US by BBDO and has lost a significant amount of its European business to the Danish agency AdPeople.

George Gallate, Euro RSCG's chief executive for Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, said: "We are confident of holding and growing the business."
