The World: Singapore - Two-way battle for Chevrolet SE Asia creative

Competition for Chevrolet's regional creative assignment will be a two-way contest between Ogilvy and Leo Burnett, the incumbent.

Sources close to the brand's owner, General Motors, say McCann Erickson and Religion, a local agency, are no longer in contention.

McCann, which is globally aligned with GM, is expected to retain Chevrolet's digital marketing and PR activities.

The protracted review, which began in January, started as a Singapore-only brief but was later broadened to cover South-East Asia. Burnett currently handles Chevrolet in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines.
