Both spots warn viewers to "minimise the surprise. Stick with beer."
The Distilled Spirits Council of the US is countering Anheuser-Busch's "Here's to beer" initiative with web postings and literature that warns: "It's not what you drink, but how much you drink that counts."
Bob Lachky, Anheuser-Busch's chief creative officer, said it had not yet been decided if the ads would be screened.
