The agency has been briefed to implement a strategic and creative plan that focuses on the Nordic region. DDB Stockholm will take the role of the lead agency on the account.
Arla Foods said that it awarded its account to DDB as it had a "well-established Nordic network" and showed "strategic competency" during the pitch process.
Lars Axelsson, the client services director at DDB Stockholm, said: "This will pose an exciting challenge for us, and one which we are keen to get stuck into. It will also be one of the greatest tasks we've worked on."
