The World: Sydney - Adshel and APN share $75m Sydney Airport contract

The US$75 million outdoor advertising contract for Sydney Airport has been awarded to Adshel and APN Outdoor.

The seven-year contract includes 30 external format faces, handled by Adshel, and 70 smaller faces inside the terminal, managed by APN.

Richard Herring, the chief executive of APN, said: "We showed how Sydney Airport could be further positioned as a global brand and a more powerful medium for advertising within Australia. We are working on implementing our recommendations."

Adshel is a 50:50 joint venture between APN News and Media and Clear Channel, while APN is a division of APN News & Media.
