The World: Sydney - Leo Burnett wins McDonald's business

Leo Burnett Australia has won the core menu items for McDonald's.

Splitting its account for the first time in its 33-year history in Australia, McDonald's has moved (AU)$34.5 million (£14 million) of billings from DDB to Leo Burnett Australia without a pitch. DDB will continue to work on the fast food client's account.

Leo Burnett Australia will now produce creative for burgers, fries and chicken products, mirroring the model in the US.

Last year, DDB lost out to Leo Burnett on the Taiwanese McDonald's account.
