The World: Sydney - Radio networks get set for digital by assigning staff

The radio networks Austereo and Macquarie are both making appointments to facilitate digital radio when it launches in January 2009.

To oversee the move, Austereo, the radio network owner of 2DayFM and Triple M, has appointed 2DayFM's content director, Jamie Angel, to the role of national digital radio content director, while Macquarie has appointed Kate Edwards as its head of integration.
