The World: Sydney - Regulator outlaws clothing brand's 'cocaine' ad

The Advertising Standards Bureau has censored an ad for the clothing brand Unit featuring white powder that appears to represent cocaine or amphetamine.

The ad, which ran as a double-page spread in Australian magazines, showed images of money, alcohol, gambling chips and powder next to credit cards.

The governing board upheld complaints made about the ad, stating that the image was inappropriate given that the demographic profile of readers of the magazines in which the ad was featured was around 15- to 24-year-olds.
