The two agencies were selected from an original pitchlist that included Publicis Mojo, Singleton Ogilvy & Mather, Whybin\TBWA and the incumbent.
Tom Dery, the M&C Saatchi Australia chief executive, said: "We join a long line of incumbents that haven't been reappointed. It's not surprising. I think it's more a reflection on the client than the advertising. It's understandable, because there's been a lot of change at Tourism Australia."
