The World: Sydney - Two Way TV expands its operations into Asia

The interactive digital television company Two Way TV Australia has expanded into 25 markets in Asia, paying (AU)$10.58 million (£4.3 million) for options over 11 markets: Hong Kong, Japan, China, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, Pakistan, Taiwan and Thailand.

Under the terms of the options, Two Way TV has three years to set up in the new territories. An additional spend of (AU)$434,000 has secured four-year options in 14 other countries, including the Philippines, Vietnam and Cambodia.

Two Way TV produces interactive content for digital television and provides games channels to subscribers on the Foxtel and Austar networks in Australia.
