The World: Sydney - Y&R plans to expand Campaign Palace operation

Young & Rubicam is considering rolling out its Campaign Palace operation in Australia into other countries as part of plans to diversify the group's global business.

Hamish McLennan, Y&R's Australia-born global chief executive, said that Singapore and Thailand were under consideration.

Industry sources say Campaign Palace, which is currently in Sydney and Melbourne, could also have a presence in London, New York and Auckland.

Meanwhile, DraftFCB has named Michael Simons, its creative chief in Sydney, the executive creative director for Asia-Pacific. He replaces Rob Sherlock, who has joined DraftFCB in Chicago.
