The World: Taipei - Carat and CS agency team lands Taiwan Telco task

The Taiwanese Telco Chunghwa has awarded its $25 million media planning and buying account to a team made up of representatives from Carat and CS Innovations.

The win comes despite the fact that CS was not invited to pitch in the early stages of the review.

The agency team beat Universal McCann, Mediaedge:cia, MediaCom and Initiative to pick up the business.

CS Innovations was one of the previous incumbents - along with the BBDO-owned MINT - but was excluded from the initial pitch process because its billings over the previous three years failed to meet the pitch requirements.
