The World: Taipei Hsieh replaces Wang as ZenithOptimedia's chief

Robert Hsieh, the former managing director of Initiative Taiwan, has been appointed as the chief executive of ZenithOptimedia Taiwan. He replaces the outgoing Susan Wang, who is stepping down from the role next month.

As well as taking a hands-on role with the agency's biggest clients, Hsieh will also be responsible for driving new-business growth.

He will report to Phillip Talbot, the chief executive of ZenithOptimedia Asia-Pacific.

During his career, Hsieh has worked at Carat, where he was the executive director; MindShare Beijing, where he was the general manager; and Ogilvy & Mather, where he was the media director.
