The World: Taiwan - Raymond So quits as BBDO Asia-Pacific chairman

Raymond So, the chairman of BBDO Asia-Pacific, has resigned from the job citing management differences.

On announcing his resignation, So, who has been in the role for four years, said that he had always wanted to work according to his own principles and for the good of the company. However, he said, since the beginning of the year he had been increasingly hampered in doing this as a result of a difference of opinion with the BBDO Worldwide office.

So is the second Omnicom regional chief to resign in as many weeks, following the resignation of Aaron Lau as BBDO's president and chief executive for China.
