The World: Tokyo Bullard named as new president of Viacom Japan

Peter Bullard has been promoted to the position of president of Viacom Japan.

In the newly created role, he will be responsible for the operations of all of MTV Networks' linear and digital programming in the Japanese market.

Bill Roedy, the president of MTV Networks International, said: "Peter has been instrumental in driving the growth of our businesses across brands and platforms in Japan and throughout Asia over the years. Japan will continue to be one of our biggest international growth markets as we fast-track the development of FLUX, MTV and Nickelodeon to enhance our connection with Japanese audiences."
