The World: Tokyo - Dentsu given broadcast rights to two Asian Games

Tateo Maztaki, the Dentsu president, has announced that the Japanese agency giant has reached an agreement with the Olympic Council of Asia to handle marketing and broadcast rights for the next two Asian Games.

The Asian Games is the largest combined sports event in the continent, and takes place every four years. More than 15,000 athletes and officials representing 45 countries are involved.

The next Asian Games will be staged in Guangzhou in 2010. New Delhi and Incheon are bidding to host the 2014 event.
